The Spy Story: Part 3

Series Sermon #5: As we come to the close of the Spy story, Moses draws the reader's attention back to the congregation. After they hear of God's judgment upon them, they have immediate regrets and try to advance on God's original plan. Their rash decisions at this juncture only lead to further problems and more severe punishment. It also reveals their continued unwillingness to submit to God. In this sermon, we will learn how to receive punishment that comes from the hand of God.
