Sibling Rivalries

Series Sermon #2: In Numbers 12, we observe three siblings who weren't getting along. Miriam and Aaron joined together in their criticism of Moses. In God's providence, He had chosen Moses to lead the people and his brother and sister have a problem with that! They complain about him together. God's response makes it clear to everyone in Israel that He will not tolerate complaining against the person that He has established as a leader of the people. There's much to learn from this narrative, but its predominant point again alerts us to the dangers associated with complaining.
