Eating with Sinners: Christ's Method of Mission

Series Sermon #8: Mark continues his emphasis on authority by describing Jesus' willingness to break scribal rules about eating with social outcasts and people who normally rejected the Law of Moses. Jesus explains that his mission involves calling sinners to repentance and forgiveness of sins. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus' efforts in evangelism take on many different forms, but this one involves engaging in normal social interaction with lost people.
