The Beginning of the Gospel!

Series sermon #51: Mark ends his gospel in a rather unusual way. He tells the story of Jesus's burial and the empty tomb by focusing on the response of several women who had accompanied him throughout his journey. Many were there at his death, his burial, and also the angelic testimony of his empty tomb. These women, however, run away in fear and don't tell others about what has happened. This leaves us with the challenge to pick up this message and proclaim it faithfully to others.
