Striving to Excel in Edification (Part 1)

Series sermon #43: In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul corrects the chaotic, self-centered worship of the Corinthians by laying out his vision for their gatherings. His vision includes three guiding values for their corporate assemblies: 1) edification (vv. 1-13), 2) understanding (vv. 14-25), and 3) order (vv. 26-40). In this sermon, we will begin to understand the importance that Paul puts on edifying others when we come together to worship.
