Jesus is Sufficient

Series sermon #3: In this passage, we'll examine two reasons that Christ is sovereign enough to be all that we need. Knowing that the Colossians are facing the pressures of false teaching, Paul's first step after praying for them to understand God’s will is to remind them just who this Christ is whom they call their Lord. He is everything that they need because he is the Lord of the physical creation and he is the Lord of the new creation. If this Christ is our Lord, then we can be confident that we, too, have everything we need for whatever we face in life.
