Following the contours of scripture, the author of Hebrews gives examples of bold faith from Genesis 1-11. These examples give us the opportunity to understand more about how faith enables us to please God at all times, especially dark times of chaos, injustice, and violence. Of the many ways we can respond to the darkness around us, bold faith in Jesus is at the top of the list. Bold faith enables us to love, trust in, and speak to others about Jesus during this time.
