Series Sermon #2: In Isaiah 7, the people of Judah are shaking in fear because of enemy coalitions arranged against them and their King, Ahaz, has resorted to trusting in an alliance with Assyria. Isaiah instructs him instead to trust in God's power to deliver them. As a sign to verify God's ability to help them, a new thing will occur. A virgin will conceive and give birth to a Son. In this sermon, we will learn that the believer's ultimate source of hope and confidence is God.
