Paul's prayer for the Philippians’ love to grow and produce discernment of what is best helps us to understand how we are to live our lives in a world where we can be distracted by many secondary pursuits. The key is understanding how the centrality of the gospel will produce unity in spite of our differences as we seeks to advance the kingdom of God rather than our own agendas.
