In John 2, Jesus demonstrated concern for the way people worship God. Upon arriving in the Temple, he identifies a problem and corrects it. As the author of John's Gospel narrates the story, however, he explains that this was to show that genuine worship does not revolve around a building, but a body. Worship is not about the Temple, its about Jesus himself. When we gather, we too must care passionately about worshipping Jesus in the right ways.
