Series sermon #26:In Hebrews 7-10, the author of Hebrews works through the longest sustained argument concerning the nature and significance of the cross. To close things out, he refers to scripture again in both Hebrews 10:11-14 and 15-18 before giving a final summary in each section (cf. vv. 14, 18). In verse 18, he concludes with a powerful proposition: "Sacrifices are no longer needed when sins are forgiven."
