Series Sermon #4: In Heb 2:5, the author begins a new section about the superiority of Jesus over the partriarch Moses. Christ is greater than Moses for many reasons. In 2:5-18, the author identifies five blessings of Christ's incarnation that demonstrate his superiority. In this evening service, we will consider the first: Christ's incarnational ministry recaptured God's original design for mankind (2:5-9). In this passage, we will marvel at the Christ's ability to defeat death and sin and secure God's blessing for his followers.
