The Vindication of God's Name

Series sermon #18: In the first chapter of 1 Thessalonians, Paul discusses a very important theological topic--the integrity of God in punishing sin. God will one day strongly punish those who do not obey his gospel and will bless those who endure persecution for his name. Although modern readers might struggle with Paul's vivid description of future judgment, these verses act as a strong encouragement to believers who have been persecuted for doing good.
