The Believer's Impenetrable Hope

January 13, 2019 Speaker: Thomas Swope

Passage: 1 Peter 1:3–1:11

In this text, we consider a message of hope that the Apostle Peter sends to distant churches spread throughout a pagan culture.  He holds two foundational truths to his readers: God started your faith, and God is guarding your faith. When our faith feels fragile, when our circumstances seem insurmountable, when perseverance appears impossible, we must allow these two truths to source our impenetrable hope and our inexpressible joy as we walk with Christ.
