Thanksgiving and the Example of Job

Job 1 begins with Job being highlighted as "the greatest of all the people of east." He is wealthy, respected, and has a large family. However, as Job 1 concludes, Job has lost all his livestock and his children. He is bruised and broken. What is amazing about this man is that he does not fall to the ground and curse God; rather, he lays before God and worships. This message seeks to probe the heart of Job and the mind of God to understand how Job could be a man of thanksgiving when circumstances seem hopeless.
