Fires of Purification or Punishment? Part 2

Series Sermon #30: At the end of Mark 9, Jesus develops further the nature of the life of cross-bearing disciples. Those who follow Christ not only receive and serve children, they must not purposefully offend any believer, even those most vulnerable. As a means of encouraging potential followers to consider the nature of their lives, Jesus explains that God's fire will either purify or punish them in accordance with whether they obey Christ's words.
